DANIEL ANSCHUTZ

Daniel Anschutz is the Co-Founder, COO and Executive Chef of Compassion Delivered, where he combines culinary excellence with a deeply rooted sense of purpose. Driven by a belief that food can be a powerful expression of care and connection, Daniel leads the preparation of tens of thousands of meals each year for individuals facing terminal diseases. Alongside a dedicated team of volunteers, he ensures that every meal is thoughtfully crafted with both quality and compassion.
Chef Daniel earned his culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu and is a Certified Executive Chef through the National Restaurant Association. He has served as an Executive Chef since 2013, building a strong reputation for his technical expertise, creativity, and leadership in the kitchen. He is also a member of the United States Personal Chef Association.
His talent and impact have earned him significant recognition throughout the region. Daniel was named to the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce’s 2022 Class of Twenty Under 40, a distinction that he and his wife, Amanda, uniquely share as the first couple to both receive the honor. He has also been voted About Magazine’s Reader’s Choice “Favorite Chef” in Stark County multiple times (2017, 2018, 2020, and 2021).
Chef Daniel’s culinary expertise has extended to a national stage, serving as chef for multiple Pro Football Hall of Fame post-induction celebrations. In this role, he has prepared meals for notable figures including Jerry Jones, Edward DeBartolo Jr., Kurt Warner, LaDainian Tomlinson, and Tony Dungy, as well as teams such as the Indianapolis Colts.
An Eagle Scout, Daniel brings a strong foundation of leadership, service, and integrity to both his professional and community work. He consistently uses his talents to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Daniel and his wife, Amanda, live in North Canton with their two daughters and their cat, Oliver.
